Adam in London

Hello everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while! Adam came to visit me in London and we had an amazing time! It was the first time Adam and I saw snow and Hyde Park on his first day was stunning. We walked around and we were so cold that we stopped in the most gorgeous place in Hyde Park/Kensington Palace called the Orangery Conservatory. It was stunning and the food amazing. Beautiful start to our 10 days together.

The Orangery Conservatory.
I was even lucky enough to have Adam over for Valentines Day. It was Adam's idea to take me to Harrods for the day and he even bought me a Burberry Present!

After a few days in London, we flew to Glasgow; Scotland which was absoltely beautiful with gorgeous weather. We stayed in a place called Sherbrooke Castle and to say it was beautiful was an understatement. Four poster bed, clawed bath in a huge bathroom, quaint little alcoves and our very own turret! We visited the city, went shopping and Adam even had a business meeting! We dined often in the castle restaurant and we spent many an hour by the large ornate fireplace drinking red wine.

We went to see the Musical 'Thriller' which is a Michael Jackson show and it was terrific! It was in a theatre in Picadilly circus. The next day we came back and went shopping in Oxford Circus!

The 10 days went far too quickly, as they were always going to, and I loved every second! Even the parts where we were crammed in my tiny bed in my shoebox apartment. The sore necks and backs were worth it! I am a very lucky girl to have such a wonderful man as my husband. Of course he has gone now, and saying goodbye at Heathrow was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I am having the time of my life and I can't wait to see him when I go home at the end of the British school year.
Until next post... :)

Tower of London

The Tower of London, built in 1066 by William the Conqueror is one of the most historic and amazing places I have ever seen. The photos speak for themselves. I saw the crown jewels, including a 530 carat diamond sceptre, the Yeoman Warders, the 7 Ravens that have to be in the grounds and if they leave it means England will crumble. The place where Henry VIII proposed to Anne Boleyn...and the place where he had her executed. I saw the Tower Bridge, walked around the outer walls that border the Thames, saw the Traitor's Gate and so much more! It was a brilliant day! And it snowed tonight! Amazing day!
